Salta and Argentine pride! The talent representing us at the top of world robotics

The technological talent of our region has just set a historic milestone. With deep pride we congratulate the student delegation from IITA (Institute of Innovation and Applied Technology) in Salta, who were crowned champions in the Technical Challenge of one of the top autonomous robot soccer categories at the prestigious RoboCup world championship, held in South Korea.
This achievement places robotics from Salta and Argentina among the global elite. After qualifying at the national stage, the team from Salta measured itself against thousands of participants from dozens of countries, standing out in the development and programming of autonomous robots with artificial intelligence tools. For the institute, this title validates years of training and proves that technology built to international standards is being developed in Salta.
At Argentina Space we fully share the view that frontier sciences and applied robotics are pillars of our country's strategic development. Reaching these highly demanding stages, however, requires a coordinated effort that goes beyond the classroom.
Behind every line of code and every development that competes abroad there is a fabric of preparation, logistics and infrastructure that demands constant support. Backing from companies, institutions and the whole community is the indispensable engine that lets our young scientists travel, research and keep competing with the best on the planet. Promoting and providing these resources is not short-term assistance; it is the smartest investment we can make as a society in our technological and productive ecosystem.
We congratulate IITA, its teachers and this team of champions, who show us that when local talent finds the right tools and support, no border can hold it back.
Let's keep driving the future of innovation in Argentina together!
